12 September 2024

While it may feel like the Christmas season is months away, I’m sitting here typing with my coat on, and the nights are already drawing in. For many business owners and content creators, the planning starts now.

This week, I had the pleasure of co-delivering a full day workshop with Janet Bebb of Social Progress at their Honley office.

Though it’s only September, getting ahead of the game is key to maximising the festive season’s potential. Our workshop, tailored for members of the Honley Business Association, focused on preparing businesses for this bustling time of year.

Our wonderful attendees – Fay from Dolphin Heating, Philip Lofthouse of Holme Valley Honey, Jane Baines of WoobWoo and Emma Sutton of Friends of Honley Library, left with a sack full of strategies to take their businesses and work into the festive season with confidence.

PR Strategies for Maximum Visibility

Our workshop focused on practical steps businesses can take to ensure they’re ready for the festive rush.

We explored how to create stories that resonate with your customers’ mindset.

Janet shared insights on visual content that captures attention, while I focused on how to create engaging copy that tells your brand’s unique story.

We also discussed how to get your business noticed by the media, from creating hooks to tapping into seasonal trends.

Workshop Feedback

The best part of the day? Seeing collaborations and plans coming together.

It was fantastic to hear such positive feedback from our attendees.

Here’s what they had to say:

“Excellent training. Very well presented and as described. Would highly recommend it.”

“Absolutely inspirational. A day full of fun and laughter.”

“Loved it. So much practical info combined with lots of ideas. So many ideas, so little time.”

“It was brilliant.”

For Janet and I, it’s always a pleasure to see everyone engaged, laughing, and walking away with practical strategies they can immediately put into action.

Content Planning Workshop in Huddersfield

We’re excited to bring this workshop to Huddersfield next month, where we’ll be delivering the same mix of creativity, fun and actionable tips.

If you’re looking to boost your visibility and want to learn how to combine engaging copy with eye-catching visuals, let’s chat about 1-1 or group workshops and training.
