28 June 2024

My youngest daughter, Gracie, gifted me a beautiful handmade clay bracelet with the message ‘You Have Got This’.

This simple yet insightful gesture reminds me of the importance of the circles we form at home and how they strengthen us in our professional pursuits.

I had a productive and collaborative strategy planning session with a potential new client supporting mental health and wellbeing, alongside another innovative health organisation aiming to make a significant impact in the community.

I’m thrilled to announce that I’ve been matched with my first mentee through the Thrive programme. I’m looking forward to meeting him next week and exploring how I can support his business as it continues to grow.

This week I drafted a press release for a charity dedicated to supporting young people and local schools. It’s an honour to use my skills to amplify the voices of such impactful organisations.

I began working on the strategic tone of voice and key message copy for a new creative client. This project is proving to be a fantastic opportunity to dig deep into creative storytelling and brand development.

Attended two insightful Ad:Venture workshops. Continuous learning is crucial, and these sessions were a reminder of the importance of drawing on each other’s expertise and closing that circle where there may be gaps.

I participated in an inspiring business breakfast networking session at 3M Buckley Innovation Centre with Huddersfield Giants and Huddersfield University. The guest speakers shared forward-thinking, innovative visions that were both thought-provoking and motivating.

Enjoyed a warm welcome at my first-speed networking event organised by the Huddersfield Health Innovation Partnership, Thrive and Huddersfield University. As we moved around the circle, I felt how enriching it is to meet new people and explore potential collaborations.

To cap off the week I received a lovely invitation from Social Progress to the Eaton Smith Business of the Year Award. Congratulations to all the nominees and winners for their remarkable achievements.

Each connection we make, and each circle we form brings us closer to achieving our goals and making a positive impact in our communities.

As we connect the dots and support each other in our personal and professional lives we create a powerful network of support and opportunity.

If you’d like to join me, let’s connect the dots to expand our circles and make a greater impact.
