A first expo stand, a roller banner, and a tabletop Jenga for the nerves. Eighty five local businesses, and a boiler stripped down live.

I’ve packed my nerves, my roller banner and a tabletop Jenga to steady them.
I’ll be swapping my sunny garden and Narnia sliding wardrobe office (genuinely, it’s where I work) for a stand at the SAM Networking Business expo, and I’d love you to come and say hi.
Why the Jenga? Because what’s business without a bit of wobble?
I’ll be there alongside some absolute legends, including Cheryl Devine of Cultivate Courage, doing her thing with calm strength and sparkly joy. And my fabulous gas engineer, Fay from Dolphin Heating, stripping down a boiler live (just don’t call her a plumber unless you want to be dismantled too).
There’ll be over 85 local businesses bringing their energy, ideas, and hopefully snacks.
Expect:
Look for a stand that’s part PR, part playroom.
And in the spirit of the RSPCA’s ‘office shredder’, I’ve chewed my to-do list to get ready (credit Lauren Moore).
Come say hi, share a laugh, and if I seem a bit tangled in my roller banner, let’s topple a Jenga tower together.
When: Friday, 16 May, 10 am – 3pm
At: Cedar Court Hotel, Huddersfield, HD3 3RH
